She started writing stories at the age of twelve. Somehow she became a medical laboratory professional instead. On her fortieth birthday, she started writing fiction again. When not writing she can be found hiking the hills of Eastern Connecticut, organic gardening, or practicing Scottish Country Dancing.
A love of animals spurs her donations to Our Companions Animal Rescue & Sanctuary which will receive a portion of her book sales. She encourages every-one to rescue rather than buy their next best friend.
